The bill "On Amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine" regarding the holding of Regular Elections of the People´s Deputies of Ukraine, President of Ukraine, Deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Local Councils, City, Township and Village Mayors", envisages the following:
A new version of clause 76, pursuant to which, the constitutional personnel of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine comprises 450 People´s Deputies of Ukraine elected on the principles of a common direct suffrage by means of secret ballot for a five-year period;
A new version of clause 77, pursuant to which, regular elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine are held on last Sunday of the 5th year of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine authorities;
New version of part 5 of clause 103, pursuant to which, regular elections of the President of Ukraine are held on last Sunday of March of the 5th year of the President of Ukraine authorities. In case of an early termination of the presidential authorities, early elections are held within 90 days since the termination of the authorities;
A new version of part 1 of clause 136, pursuant to which, the representative body of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea is the Verkhovna Rada of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. The deputies are elected on the principles of a common direct suffrage by means of secret ballot for a five-year period. Termination of the authorities of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea presupposes termination of the authorities of its deputies;
A new version of part one and two of clause 141, pursuant to which, the deputies elected by the citizens of village, township, city, region on the principles of a common direct suffrage by means of secret ballot for a five-year period refer to the personnel of the village, township, city and regional councils.
